Accessing the festival via Minecraft Bedrock edition

How do I get Minecraft?

Minecraft Bedrock edition is available for Windows, IOS, Android. Switch and selected consoles.
To get Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Windows, go to the Microsoft store and find "Minecraft for Windows 10 starter collection". Buy it and install.
To get Minecraft Bedrock Edition on IOS, Find Minecraft PE in the app store. Buy it and install.
To get Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Android, go to the Google play store and find Minecraft PE. Buy it and install.

How do I join the festival once I've bought Minecraft?

To access the festival once you've bought Minecraft, you'll need an Xbox live account (see below). Once you have your Xbox live account and you are signed in, you will need to join a "server" (see below).

How do I get an Xbox live account & how do I sign in?

First, open up Minecraft Bedrock edition. Once in, you'll see a button in the left-hand corner that says "Sign in". Click it.
A prompt will ask you to either sign in or create an account. If you already have a Microsoft account, go ahead and login with your Microsoft account details. If you don't have a Microsoft account, go ahead and create an account. It'll ask you for details like your email. It will ask you what you want your "gamer tag" to be. Your gamer tag is just the name that people will see you as inside the festival. Once you have created your account, click "Let's play". It'll take you back to Minecraft and you're ready to join the festival! See the next paragraph on the next step (how to join the festival server).

How do I connect to the festival server?

Once you are signed in with an Xbox live account, press the big "Play" button on the main page of Minecraft. Then find the "Servers" tab in the top portion of the screen. Press it and then press the "Add Server" button. Then enter the respective info from the "Server Info" Section below into the box on screen. Once you have entered in all of the correct info, press "Play" if you would like to join the festival right then and there. If you would like to join later, just press "Save". Then when you come back, again, find the "Servers" tab and scroll down till you find whatever you put down as the server name as. Press it to join!
